Paul McGranaghan is a singer and songwriter from Largs in Scotland. Mixing delicate acoustics with strong lyrics and melodies he draws influence from songwriters such as Elliott Smith, Neil Young, Ryan Adams & Noel Gallagher. Paul played lead guitar for the Largs based Blind Pew before pursuing a solo career in 2008. Since 2009 he has performed across Scotland building up a growing fan-base in venues such as Glasgow's King Tuts Wah-Wah Hut, Live@Troon Festival & Aberdeen's Lemon Tree.
He has quickly picked up a reputation as a live act whether playing solo acoustic sets or with a full band. Having supported established acts such as Hugh Cornwell, Brown Bear & The Bandits, Gallagher & Lyle and Dogs Die In Hot Cars.
He has released two EP's entitled "Stars For Streetlights" & "6 Chords & A Pack Of Lies" with the Daily Record describing him as "a voice for the future... deserves to be signed" he has also co-written and recorded tracks with Scottish songwriter Graham Lyle,(Gallagher & Lyle, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner)
Paul has recently released his debut album "Carry The Torch" which is available worldwide on iTunes from September 17th and will be touring throughout the UK this winter.
